<H2> We hope you believe as we do, that councilmembers are the ‘gateway’ of the community, representing the constituents to other levels of government; communicates policies and programs to residents; and responds to community needs and complaints. </H2>
<H2 CLASS="MsoNormal">As you know, campaigning can often be a daunting time getting around to see all your constituents to share your vision.  Let us help you make this election season a little easier to convey your message. Please accept this as a valuable promotional opportunity to tell your story, to help engage & educate the public in regard to the importance of their voice in Baker City government.</H2>

<LI CLASS="nth-child-2 nth-child-even">Candidates are asked prepared questions on themes important to their district and Baker community.</LI>
<LI CLASS="nth-child-3 nth-child-odd last">Candidates are asked questions that the audience submits on index cards.
<UL>
<LI CLASS="nth-child-1 nth-child-odd">Attendees may ask follow-up questions from microphones in the audience.</LI>
</UL>
</LI>
<LI CLASS="nth-child-3 nth-child-odd last">At the end, candidates provide closing statements, with an equal amount of time given to each candidate</LI>
