Let's Explore Your Parks! Have you ever wanted to try a new outdoor activity but didn’t know where to start? We’re bringing the experts to these workshops. All you need to do is show up and give it a try!

Get ready to Explore Your Parks! With 75+ parks and green spaces, Grand Rapids’ parks have something to offer everyone. At the 2nd annual Explore Your Parks workshop series, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks is partnering with the <a href="https://www.graud.org/" title="https://www.graud.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Grand Rapids Audubon Club</a> to provide guided bird walks for all ages, abilities, and skill levels.Join us for a fun, educational morning at Huff Park. Meet birders of all skill levels, learn more about equipment for viewing and identifying birds, and see how many different bird species you can find! (Last year, we spotted 46 different species... Want to help us top that??)Guided bird walk times: 8:30-9:20am 9:30-10:20am 10:30-11:20amWhat to expect: There will be a limited supply of binoculars for folks to share, but we recommend bringing your own if you have them! In addition to guided bird walks, there will be snacks, games, and activities for all to enjoy.
