Purposeful Retirement at the Campus
Purposeful Retirement Series Starting March 19 at 7:30 am
At the Campus for Creative Aging. Breakfast series about the decisions facing people approaching retirement. Topics are:
- Life after Work and Re-inventing Self
- Creating a Dream Life and what have you always wanted to do, to have, to be?
- Moving on from ‘the Job’ and finishing old business
- Bridging the Change and stepping into the New You
- Positivity
- Social Networks
Facilitated by: Jacquie Joy Blackwell, M.A., Psy. Inspirational Coach & Trainer
Jacquie Blackwell goes by ‘Jacquie Joy’ as her grandmother fondly referred to her.
Jacquie has a master’s in psychology and has traveled the world putting it to good use. She formed Amazing Learning Center as a training and networking organization for individuals in need of social resources, emotional support and/or personal guidance. Most services are free of charge because of collaborative partnerships with other community organizations
Currently, Jacquie facilitates patient discussion groups at Lakeland Behavioral Health; leads Employability Skills training, performs one-on-one psychotherapeutic coaching, and facilitates weekly motivational and inspirational workshops. She also gives presentations at the Lincoln Sr. Center.
