Every day, the government buys billions of dollars' worth of goods and services from businesses. In an ongoing effort to assist businesses interested in selling to the government, the New York City Department of Small Business Services APEX Accelerator offer this ssix-part Contract Management series.

During this webinar, we will review the recordkeeping and reporting requirements for Contractors doing business with the City of New York. Contractors are required to retain all books, records, and documents created in the regular course of business for a period of six years after the receipt of their last payment. We will discuss the requirements for recordkeeping, the documents that need to be maintained and best practices for keeping this information. We will also talk about reporting requirements and review the process for preparing and submitting invoices, processing payment requisitions, and change orders.You Will Learn:<ul><li>The requirements for maintaining books, records, and files on New York City contracts</li><li>How to prepare and submit invoices</li><li>How to prepare a payment requisition package</li><li>How to request and make changes on contracts by processing a change order</li></ul>Register today!
