Welding Sculpture Workshop
Venture into the Maitland Art Center's Foundry Yard to create your own steel sculpture using welding techniques. Beginners welcome!
Students learn the basics of welding to create steel sculptures using arc welding, cutting and finishing techniques. Design concepts and safety procedures are covered during construction of piece. This workshop is led by Jim Hosner and Michael Moffett in the Foundry Yard at the Maitland Art Center.
Please note this workshop has a materials fee of $30, which can be paid in cash at the beginning of the workshop. This is in addition to the workshop registration fee.
