We empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds. Check back frequently, as we post new service opportunities on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Seeds of Caring

Children will create crafts to bring cheer to homebound clients of Meals-On-Wheels.

Who this Anywhere Project is for:Ages 2-12. Not sure if this project is the right fit for your kids? Email us with questions at programs@seedsofcaring.org.What you'll be doing:Children will grow in empathy for homebound seniors through age-appropriate discussion. Then, helping hands will create crafts to be included in the <a href="https://www.lifecarealliance.org/programs/meals-on-wheels/meals-on-wheels-facts/" title="https://www.lifecarealliance.org/programs/meals-on-wheels/meals-on-wheels-facts/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Meals-on-Wheels</a> deliveries throughout November to spread cheer and smiles.When you'll be doing it:This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate until the project ends on September 30th. Crafts may be mailed or delivered to our Seeds of Caring home office in Worthington by September 30th. Our address will be provided in your service packet.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. Use craft supplies on-hand and print the included template or create your own crafts!Why you'll be invited to donate:Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you.
