The Nia White Belt Training presents a body-centred approach to mastering the art of moving, living, and fully being in your body. Over the course of this 16 week online immersion, you will comprehensively explore Nia’s foundational principles for optimising health and wellness. Through deepening your relationship with The Body and Your Body, you'll access greater body wisdom, awareness, Joy, personal power and freedom. Nia White Belt gives you skills to cope with challenges and uncertainty, to calm your nervous system and move through stress. It helps centre, mend and prepare people for the journey of life.Nia White Belt online is an interactive course that allows you to stay in the convenience and privacy of your home, meeting weekly via Zoom with time and space in between for you to process, practise and personalise each of Nia's principles, and apply it to your body and life. Freedom to orient the learning to your unique timing and speed means you'll feel more relaxed and take in more information. Each session is recorded in case you have miss a week or if you want to listen in again. Slow down, self-guide, heal, make it right for you.When you learn about Nia in this format, you also go deeper in your own self-discovery - body, mind, emotions + spirit. The information becomes meaningful to you, motivating you to do it again... and again... transforming your brain, your body and your life. You become more embodied - fully inhabiting the intelligence of the body, unlocking its natural healing abilities, and attuning to the world through it. Every Nia class and training is adaptable for all ages, fitness levels, and educational backgrounds, with no prior learning or experience required to step in. WHAT TO EXPECT A SAFE, LEARNER-CENTRED ENVIRONMENTAlong with your trainer and your fellow trainees, you will co-create a safe and supportive online learning environment. You’ll experience the fun, movement, music and magic of learning Nia in a way that is both connected in community and deeply personal - ensuring that what you do is meaningful to your body and life. LEARN Online LessonsYou will spend 2 hours of inspirational “LEARN” time each week exploring Nia principles, movements and methods and Nia’s five key areas of knowledge: philosophy, science, anatomy, music and movement with Sophie and your training group. EMBODY Home-Play LessonsEach week you will receive self-guided inspirational “EMBODY” activities that include: reading, listening, moving, self-assessments, and journaling exercises designed to turn cognitive information into embodied knowledge and skills. All home-play is optional. For those desiring to SHARE Nia professionally, Debbie has asked that you participate in the EMBODY home-play as fully as possible.Investment: The total cost of this training is USD1599. The deposit of USD799.50 is paid via PayPal or credit card to Nia HQ. Focus: Art of Sensation | Intent: To embody the foundation of NiaArt of Sensation is rooted in Nia's philosophy of The Body's Way. Sensation guides you to create health and vitality by moving your body in ways that feel good. Nia White Belt teaches you to develop body literacy - the ability to listen to your body, making choices that lead to health and total body well-being.Nia White Belt teaches you the Art of Sensation through five core areas of study.<ul><li>Movement - the study of moving, health + potential</li><li>Anatomy - the study of body parts + systems </li><li>Science - the study of body awareness, health + vitality</li><li>Music - the study of sound, health + expression</li><li>Philosophy - the study of the body's inherent wisdom.</li></ul>Anyone can take the Nia White Belt; no experience is required. If you want to teach Nia, the Nia White Belt is your first step. To be a teacher, after completing the Nia White Belt, you must enrol in the Nia Teacher Membership, which is an annual fee of USD $396. The instructor fee of A$350 (usually A$600) gets paid directly to Sophie before the training OR with a 16 week payment plan of $27.50 per week.Cancellation + Transfer Policy: Registration and instruction fees are non-refundable. Should you cancel your registration less than 30 days prior to the training start date, you will incur a cancellation fee of $250 which will be deducted from your registration fee. The remaining balance will be credited to your Nia account.The cancellation policy regarding your instruction fee varies by trainer. Please contact your trainer for more information.
