Me and My Grownups Workshops February 22, 2020

ISDN is an alliance of parents and educators dedicated to enhancing the development of environments that are welcoming, inclusive and equitable for our students and their families. By establishing a strong network, ISDN seeks to strengthen collaborative efforts through programming, dialogue, parent support and improved interschool communication.

Fun for children … Support for parents
These workshops are designed for parents of children of color and their children in grades Kindergarten to 3. 
 At Me and My Grownups Workshops, children meet others like themselves, while they are guided through activities and games, under the supervision of ISDN experienced instructors. All “play” activities have hidden educational benefits.
Concurrently, adults gather in a separate room to discuss the unique experiences and challenges parenting brings. Plan to attend one workshop, or come for all three.
The last workshop for this season will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
Times: 11am to 12:30pm
Ticket Price: $20 per family
