VRA Canada Education Committee is happy to announce a free webinar with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). Learn about the Disability Tax Credit (DTC) and the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP)<ul><li>Date: September 24, 2024</li><li>Time: 10:30am-12pm EST</li></ul> The Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) Benefits Outreach Program will provide you with information on the Disability Tax Credit, how to apply, and how to access the associated benefits and credits for persons with disabilities and their families. Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) will share information on the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP), which supports persons with disabilities to save for their future. The Government of Canada helps to increase these savings by contributing up to $90,000 to an individual’s RDSP through the Canada Disability Savings Grand and Bond, depending on family income and contributions. This session has been approved for 1.5 CEU’s with CVRP and VRA.
