2nd Annual "Remixing the Narrative: Journey to Manhood" Boys' Conference

Burst Into Books! is a leveled reading organization that is geared towards children from ages 6 months to 18 years old. Your child will develop a love for literature through reading circles, book clubs and family centered events. Once a month, six book clubs will meet that are grouped by age (i.e. 6 months to 3 years old; 4 - 7 years old; 8 - 10 years old; and 11 - 13 years old; and high school). Each group is led by an experienced educator that will help each child engage with the text through multiple ways.

The theme this year is focused on "Building Wealth." Conference for young men between the ages of 6 - 18 years old.

<p>Black boys across the nation look to become black men someday. But, before this can be done in the most efficient  way possible, a question must be answered: "What is an authentic black man?"
 The theme this year is focused on "Building Wealth." We will discuss how to achieve building wealth spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally and socially.  In doing so, we aim to create stronger &amp; wiser male influencers and leaders for tomorrow. 
</p><p>The day will consist of break-out classes for each age group (6-8, 9-12 and 13-18) along with a parent workshop. The opening address will be done by Pastor William Hall. Catered lunch will be provided followed by a keynote address by Jahmal Cole (My Block, My Hood, My City). The afternoon will consist of a variety of team building activities appropriate for all ages. Also, free haircut will be offered by Larry's Barber College. All attendees will leave with a swag bag too. It is truly an event all young men should be in attendance!</p>
