2024 Square Lake Film & Music Festival

The Square Lake Film & Music Festival is known as one of the summer secrets of the upper Midwest, featuring Minnesota music, independent short, experimental and animated films.  This is a rain or shine outdoor event.  We show films in our hay barn-converted-to-theater during the transition time between bands.The festival is located on a 25-acre farm near the beautiful St. Croix Valley and within a few miles of the scenic Gateway Bike Trail.  Attendees are encouraged to bike to the festival and receive a steep ticket discount for doing so.  Limited camping is available on site at no charge. Musical performances by Your Smith, Poliça, DERECHO Rhythm Section, "This Land...", a unique program of film shorts, camping and more TBA. If you know us, you already love us!
