Open Voucher Call - How to Leverage the American Made Network

TheUA Tech Parkfosters technology startups, emerging, and mature companies to develop and commercialize their ideas, inventions and next evolution of product. TheUniversity of Arizona Center for Innovation, the business incubator at the UA Tech Park, provides a structured business development program and access to facilities including office, wet and dry lab space, to support startup companies. They also receive individual coaching from experienced mentors elevating them to the next level of business development.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Technology Transition launched the  Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF) Open Voucher Call.

Open Voucher Call 2024

The DOE's TCF Open Voucher Call, under the American Made program, is now live. The University of Arizona Center for Innovation offers applicant support through mentorship and application review.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Technology Transitions has launched the Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF) Open Voucher Call, administered by DOE’s American Made program.The University of Arizona Center for Innovation (UACI) will provide support to applicants through mentorship and application review.This new opportunity offers a total of $2.1 million in voucher funds to innovators to work with National Labs to translate breakthrough technologies into real-world concepts.A range of technologies will be considered, but applicants are encouraged to leverage National Laboratory capabilities when developing their ideas so they can further develop their technology alongside a partnering national lab.This single-phase open voucher call will award up to 21 teams a voucher of up to $100,000 each, to be redeemed at one of eight National Laboratories (National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Ames National Laboratory, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Argonne National Laboratory, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.)For additional details contact Amanda Buchanan, UACI Program Manager at amanda.buchanan635@gmail.com.
