Enoch Pratt Free Library

Join the Enoch Pratt Free Library for an afternoon of art, music, dance, and culture in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month.

<p>Registration for this event is recommended, but not required.</p><p>Enjoy performances showcasing Latin American dance and music traditions from <a href="https://sites.google.com/site/bailesdemitierra/" title="https://sites.google.com/site/bailesdemitierra/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bailes de Mi Tierra</a> and <a href="https://canvasrebel.com/meet-son-del-sur/" title="https://canvasrebel.com/meet-son-del-sur/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Son del Sur</a>, and remarks from U.S. District Judge <a href="https://www.dcd.uscourts.gov/content/district-judge-ana-c-reyes" title="https://www.dcd.uscourts.gov/content/district-judge-ana-c-reyes" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ana C. Reyes</a>.  Attendees will even have a chance to explore Pre-Columbian instruments with instrument maker and musician <a href="https://melissahyattfoss.com/" title="https://melissahyattfoss.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Melissa Foss</a>. The afternoon will also include family-friendly crafts and samples from local food businesses, including <a href="https://franchescasempanadascafe.com/" title="https://franchescasempanadascafe.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Franchesca's Empanadas Cafe</a>.</p>
