Do I have to attend Wild & Uncommon to attend this satellite event at DHB?

Accepted Answer

No! however, we are not actively promoting any remaining tickets until closer to the Wild & Uncommon festival to give those who are traveling an early opportunity  to sign up.

Question 2

Can I buy Paw Paws?

Accepted Answer

If paw paws are available depending on the amount of rainfall, temperature and many other natural factors, we will be selling them by the lb after the event. We will definately SEE paw paws on our walk including trees that are over 80 years old.

Question 3

Do I need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

As our terrain is hilly and somewhat rocky, we recommend bringing sturdy hiking shoes or boots.  You may also want to bring a notepad. As our tour is completely outdoors, please bring clothing appropriate for the weather.

Question 4

Will the event be cancelled if it rains?

Accepted Answer

This is considered a rain or shine event. Of course, if there is dangerous weather such as thunderstorms, tornado watch or the like, we will certainly cancel or postpone the event.

Question 5

Can I get biodynamic preparations from the farm?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We will have somewhere between 3-6 of the 9 standard biodynamic preparations available for purchase. All of these have been made on-farm.

Question 6

Will there be bathrooms available

Accepted Answer

There is a very simple bathroom option which is an outdoor tent-based portable toilet.

Question 7

If I have a disability that affects my ability to walk long distances or uphill, can you accomodate?

Accepted Answer

We will make every opportunity to accomodate.  We want you to be able to experience the farm! As we only have one all terrain vehicle it would be helpful to know ahead of time so please reach out to farm@darkhollowbiodynamic.com in advance.
