We are sisters Susannah and Lillian Calhoun, and along with our mother Diane Bigbee Calhoun, we grow cut flowers in southern Dona Ana County.Thanks to our extended growing season and diverse plantings, we grow a variety of incredibly beautiful, seasonal flowers and foliage that can be picked at the farm (see our many "u-picks") and found in local grocery stores/cafes and florists' shops.

Come out to Calhoun Flower Farm's sister farm to enjoy a VinYIn Yoga class as you watch the sun set Saturday, September 14th, 2024 as part of our yoga series.The last year has been the essence of ‘transition’ and clarity, though often in times of change and movement: it can seem uncomfortable and odd- often those your looked back on as pivotal moments in our long term stay here on growth and the path we are making for ourselves! September is that time as well: the farmer taking stock, while enthusiastic about harvest and celebration of bounty, there is the growth and planning that needs to be followed through. All while our bodies, minds, and environments are also changing with the season. Align with the flow ofChange.Experience the perfect balance of movement and stillness in our Vinyin Yoga class, a harmonious blend of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. Begin with a dynamic Vinyasa flow, where you’ll connect breath with movement, building strength, flexibility, and inner heat. As the class transitions, you’ll ease into the meditative practice of Yin Yoga, where poses are held for longer durations to deeply stretch. This combination offers the best of both worlds—an invigorating start followed by a calming and restorative finish, leaving you feeling balanced, rejuvenated, and at peace. Read about your instructor below! A few notes about this event and your t visit to our farm:<ul><li>We are a FARM! We know that sounds obvious, yet we want your visit to be as wonderful as possible! There is a short walk between the parking lot and the event space. Keep in mind that you may be walking on uneven ground, slick spots, and some stickers - so please wear comfortable sturdy footwear.</li></ul><ul><li>Keep in mind that we are a working farm and a healthy farm means an abundance of insect life. We'll provide bug spray but we invite you to bring your own if there are particular scents or ingredients you prefer.</li></ul><ul><li>Please read your EMAIL confirmation! That is the ONLY place our address will be published!</li></ul> T his event may be canceled contingent on meeting a minimum number of reservations reached by Saturday at 12pm.
