Social Alchemix (Live!) begins with a Question:A theatrical hybrid of game night, storytelling, and boozy voyeurism wrapped in the framework of the Scientific Method. Question:Can we create an analog experience in which a group of strangers can get to know each other in a deeper and more meaningful way?Hypothesis:Yes. Procedure:Armed with cocktails and a party game (<a href="https://socialalchemix.com/" title="https://socialalchemix.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Social Alchemix</a>), a group of strangers navigate a cocktail party, skip the small talk, and get into the good stuff. An intoxicating hybrid of game night, storytelling, and aligned serendipity, Social Alchemix (Live!) is an original event unlike any other. Saturday, August 10th, 2024, from 6:30pm. (21+)Tickets are free. There is a suggested donation of $5 and any tips for the hosts are greatly appreciated. You can support the creators of Social Alchemix via Venmo (@Social-Alchemix), or bringing a cash to the event. Copies of Social Alchemix are available for purchase at the event, or online at www.socialalchemix.com. Enjoy drinks and food at the bar of Daily Press. No food or outside drinks are allowed. Social Alchemix (Live!) features open and unscripted conversations that can often go deep. We strongly believe in respectful and thoughtful discourse, and have zero tolerance for hate speech.
