Come on out to Two Locals on Sunday, August 4th to cheer on Philly’s own, Kahleah Copper and the USA Women’s Basketball team as they take on Germany in the 2024 Olympics! More details to come soon so stay tuned and save the date! We are excited to announce that we will be teaming up with Working Families PA again for this watch party. The Working Families Party’s Basketball House brand seeks to build political power for the multiracial working class by cultivating connection in our fandoms and making collective civic engagement convenient, accessible, and fun. WNBA supporters are the most socially progressive of all sports fans. The WNBPA was the first women’s sports union to successfully negotiate a collective bargaining agreement, while WNBA players have led on activism addressing racial justice, police reform, gender equity and more. Together, we can become an unstoppable cultural force and change our communities for the better.
