April 1677; Colonial settlers are wrapped in the conflict of King Philip’s War. While everyone has been set upon by hard times, the residents of Pendle Valley seem to have been preyed upon by fate. As the paranoia rises, rumors of sabotage, conspiracies of murder, and even whispers of witchcraft are stirring in the fledgling township. Can you help save these lost souls before it is too late?Hallowed Ground takes place in the 17th century in the fictional township of Pendle Valley, Connecticut. Escapism Productions has worked with Connecticut Landmarks to set the scene at the Buttolph-Williams House to create an intimate, historically accurate story of intrigue and superstition. Come and explore the House and the story in this unique production. We are waiting for you to escape with us. ---------------------In order to better protect the home and the artifacts that it keeps, we ask that you leave bags and bulky clothes safely secured at your home or in your vehicle. This production will run, rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable, however they may be transferred to another show date and/or time, pending availability. This show is recommended for those 13 years old and up. For disability accessibility questions, please send an email to contact@escapismproductions.com PARKING AND CHECK IN: Parking will be located in the back of the building at the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center, located at 200 Main St, Wethersfield, CT 06109. Check in will be with a member of staff located underneath the awning in the rear of the Culture Center. COVID-19 POLICY: Masks are required within our historic interiors due to the smaller spaces and limited airflow that is common in historic buildings, regardless of vaccination status. In order to protect the health of our staff, performers, visitors, and community, attendees are required to provide proof of vaccination, or negative results of a COVID-19 PCR test administered within 72 hours of the event, in order to participate in indoor programming. Please bring a copy or photo of your vaccination card, or negative PCR test timestamped within the last 72 hours, along with a corresponding state or federal ID for entry.REFUND POLICY:Tickets are non-refundable.
