An education outreach program on how to become Associate Judge and Magistrate Judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

District of Columbia Court of Appeals

The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission (JNC) screens, selects and recommends to the President of the United States candidates for appointment to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and it appoints the chief judges for both courts. On Monday, March 2, 2020 join members of the JNC and judges from the District of Columbia courts for a unique opportunity to learn about the judicial selection process in the District of Columbia, obtain advice on applying to become a judge for the District of Columbia courts, and hear firsthand from judges from the District of Columbia courts about various facets of serving on the bench. Presented in conjunction with the District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission.  Attedees may register on site.
