The Empty Head Theater presents Out of the Box, its showcase of new plays.  This summer’s event features four short plays.

Each play takes a unique look at post information age communication.Out of the Box premieres at The Ellis, a new performance venue at 60 Dubois Street Newburgh, NY. Housed in the historic United Presbyterian Church, The Ellis is an artist and entrepreneur led performing and cultural hub based in the City. “The space is rough and this adds to the environmental staging of the performance. Each piece was selected with the space in mind," said Paige Dillon, producer of the OOTB, “The directors not only directed the individual plays; they also collaborated on the overall concepts.“*TICKETS ALSO AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR* This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.This project is also sponsored by the Orange County Arts Council and Visions Hudson Valley.
