Join us to celebrate the last weekend of "Calibration"  group exhibition with 3D printed ceramic artworks. Refreshment served.

"Calibration" is an exhibition that combines the nuances of ceramics with the precision of 3D printing technology. The exhibition's title carries a dual connotation that resonates with both the world of 3D printing and everyday language. With a focus on the exciting intersections of technology and ceramics, this exhibition invites viewers to recalibrate their perception of ceramics and discover new possibilities. Although majority of the pieces were created using 3D printing and mould making technology, the unique qualities in each work carry the maker's mark, clearly evident in the glazing, manipulation of colors, and firing process. Metaphorically, combining technology and craft in the practice for these artists, who are either immigrants, or children of immigrants from East Asian countries, represents the constant demand to "switch code" and learn multiple languages in order to fit in, and at the same time carving out a space that they can belong. Artists in this exhibition are Audrey An, Raina Lee, Cathy Lu and Danyang Anna Song.
