As the final session of the #SolidaritySummer Series we'll walk attendees through the process of becoming a community investor in the <a href="https://www.theguild.community/community-stewardship-trust/" title="https://www.theguild.community/community-stewardship-trust/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Community Stewardship Trust</a> (CST.) You'll understand what it means to become a CST investor, what you get in return, and how to sign up when the investment offering opens up in November. Completing this session is the only course requirements for becoming a community investor. Dinner will be provided at 5:30 pm, session begins promptly at 6:00 pm. LEARNING GOALS: <ul><li>Understand how the Community Stewardship Trust works from a legal and financial perspective</li><li>Understand how you earn financial returns as a CST investor</li><li>Understand how you get to vote on issues impacting your neighborhood as a CST investor</li><li>Get a first hand look at the CST investor portal and learn how to sign up when the offering opens up in November</li></ul> <h3>FACILITATORS:</h3>Avery Ebron ˆ— Director of the CST, <a href="https://www.theguild.community" title="https://www.theguild.community" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Guild</a> David Ferris — New Economy Coalition, US Solidarity Economy Network <h3>VENUE:</h3>This session will be held at <a href="https://www.theguild.community/community-stewardship-trust/themurph/" title="https://www.theguild.community/community-stewardship-trust/themurph/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The MURPH (Multi-Use Radical People's Hall)</a>, the newest property in the Community Stewardship Trust. To ensure these classes are financially accessible to everyone, free tickets to all sessions are available on request.
