Evening Under the Sphere - Benefiting the Alliance for Flushing Meadows Corona ParkWith the backdrop of a fun and festive evening, filled with enthusiastic park supporters, guests will enjoy unlimited food and beverages from vendors from the Queens Night Market and dancing under the stars.Some of our favorite Queens Night Market vendors will be there. Here's a taste of the vendors that will be dishing up delicious food all night long:DiLena's Dolcini (Desserts) Treat Yourself (Jerk Chicken) Mao's Bao (Dumplings) Daaku Indian BBQ Hong Kong Street Food (Pan-fried noodles) Trini Treats Queens (Caribbean cuisine) Super Chori (Argentine choripan) Bstro (Taiwanese popcorn chicken) Epis by Steve (Haitian cuisine) Buffalo Jump (Native American cuisine) Thaitai Eatery (Thai noodles) Tacos El Guero (Mexican Tacos) Eemas (Musubi) A key highlight of the Evening Under the Sphere benefit is AFMCP’s Freedom of the Human Spirit Award that honors leaders in the Queens community for their achievements:<ul><li>New York City Football Club</li></ul><ul><li>Consolidated Edison</li></ul>The ceremony will also see the second annual Claire Shulman Award for Public Service go to an outstanding member of the Queens community who has demonstrated dedication to serving our borough. If the event is forced to be cancelled, you may choose to request a refund or convert your ticket to a contribution.*
