The 75th PIHOA Executive Board Meeting has been postponed to November 18-22, 2024, in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia!

<p>`This meeting will bring together key senior and deputy health leadership from Guam, American Samoa, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Palau, and the Federated States of Micronesia to discuss issues of regional significance and decide on critical priorities through official communiques, resolutions, and recommendations.</p>

Day 1: Monday, November 18 (CLOSED) 

Feature presentations of FSM National, Kosrae, Pohnpei, Chuuk, Yap, Palau, Guam, American Samoa, and RMI strategic priorities and updates.

Day 2: Tuesday, November 19 (OPEN) 

o	Partnership Engagements
o	Progress and Future Directions on Selected PIHOA regional initiatives 
o	PIHOA-hosted Dinner Reception open to all invited guests, Hideaway Bar and Grill Restaurant (please RSVP at Registration Table). This session will highlight the ongoing and impactful collaborations between PIHOA and key regional and international partners, including the Fred Hollows Foundation, ASTHO, CDC, WHO, SPC, DoD, USAID, and others. Attendees will receive updates on PIHOA's regional initiatives, with a special focus on recent support activities in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). These partnerships are crucial in driving sustainable health outcomes across the Pacific.

To conclude the day, PIHOA will host a dinner reception, providing an opportunity for networking, strengthening relationships, and celebrating the collaborative efforts that advance public health in the region.

Day 3, Wednesday, November 20 (OPEN)

Day 4: Thursday, November 21 (CLOSED)

Join us for a morning to early afternoon guided tour of key health facilities in FSM/Pohnpei State. This tour is open to all interested meeting participants and will include visits to the Pohnpei State Hospital, the Department of Public Health, Genesis Hospital, the Pohnpei Community Health Center, and a nearby municipal clinic. This is a unique opportunity to explore the region’s healthcare infrastructure and gain valuable insights into local health services.
Weather, time, and landowner approval permitting, we may also enjoy a late afternoon hike to the ancient ruins of Nan Madol, offering a glimpse into Pohnpei’s rich cultural history.

Day 5: Friday, November 22 (OPEN)
