Rooftop Smoke @ Highkey Rainforest Rooftop

Fine Tobacco Club was founded in 2009 in New York City as “Fine Tobacco NYC.” It began with a simple goal: to bring together cigar smokers to appreciate the art and craft of fine tobacco together. What started as a few friends learning about cigars together has become perhaps the largest regularly meeting cigar group in the world. Each month, we bring together anyone who loves cigars, libations, and good conversation for cigar and spirits pairings, live jazz events, summer rooftop events, new product releases and more. After more than 200 gatherings over 10 years, Fine Tobacco Club now seeks to bring new experiences, friendships, and products to fine tobacco lovers everywhere.

Before the internet, before social media and maybe even before you were old enough to smoke, we were making cigars right here in the greatest city in the world. It was 1974 in New York City when our founder Don Antonio Martinez opened our factory and began making his own blend of cigars.New York was a different town back then. A subway token was 35 cents and a cup of coffee was 50 cents. The World Trade Center had just been completed the year before in 1973. Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier fought matches that year and John Lennon played his last concert – both historic events took place at Madison Square Garden just blocks away from our factory. These icons are gone, and so many others, but we’ve been here through all of New York’s wonderful ups and downs, thanks to a loyal base of customers.Don Antonio’s son Jesus Martinez who has been at the helm the last couple of decades has spent three years developing this unique blend to celebrate 50 years of rolling cigars in NYC. He has found the perfect combination of fun and sophistication – just like NYC. Bringing together a smooth rich earthy flavor with a satisfyingly sweet finish to take the hustle bustle of the city away.“This cigar is inspired by our friends and family and by all of our great customers that we’ve adopted into the Martinez Cigar family over the years. If you’re not part of the family yet, I invite you to come in, take a step back in time and enjoy one of the best smokes you will ever have.” ~ Jesus Martinez

Mixologist, Jhony Alam, has created uniquely interesting cocktails such as the Gemini Experience where a chewable Miracle Berry will alter your tastebuds throughout the drink.

Driven by a passion for functional art and high-end home decor, we established Protetta to offer fine living enthusiasts a trusted source for luxury items. Taking inspiration from classic Italian art and design, the first items we offer combine form and aesthetics in the most exquisite ways. As a small group of artists and designers — with more than a half-century of combined experience — we are proud and excited to offer our unique creations. They are truly a reflection of our personal experiences and travels.
