Family Bike Ride in the Excelsior at Monroe Elementary School

Through day-to-day advocacy, education, and working partnerships with government and community agencies, the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition is dedicated to creating safer streets and more livable communities for all San Franciscans.Our active members represent San Franciscans of all ages, from all neighborhoods, who are working towards more safe, efficient, and green ways to move around our city. The SF Bicycle Coalition is the largest city-based bicycle advocacy group in the nation and one of the largest membership-based groups in San Francisco.The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition promotes the bicycle for everyday transportation.

2.5 round trip ride from Monroe to the Purple Playground and back

Monroe Elementary School

Led by our staff members, you'll have the opportunity to ride with the support of a large group. If you’ve seen smiling people enjoying being out on their bikes riding comfortably in your neighborhood, this will be your chance to join in the fun. Following our Family Learn to Ride event, the ride will kick-off at noon.Starting at Monroe Elementary School we will navigate our way to Purple Park Playground and then back to Monroe. Location/Route: Approximately 2.5 miles.Contact Chester (chester@sfbike.org) for any questions you may have.
