Welcome to our Kids Cooking Class!Ages 10 - 16!There will be different food each day. Yummy ravioli, Fun different pizzas, and a corn bread and stuffed pepper dish, all completely from scratch! We will be teaching kids these delicious recipes while also showing them essential kitchen knowledge. How to make pasta dough, cheese, all different sauces, and all from scratch with local ingredients! This is the perfect camp for your cooking interested kid to learn more!There are limited spaces for this camp because we are trying something new! This camp's main purpose is outreach and giving opportunities of learning for kids who may not have access to these sorts of camps. We are cooperating with the migrant workers in the valley to help fill these classes with their children. The camp is set at the hours of the day that their families will be working so they don't have to worry about picking and dropping their kids off at inconvenient times. We hope that this camp will be the first of many like this and we are hoping to be able to reach more people than we have before. This camp is all about connecting our community on a deeper level and extending opportunities to those who may have seemed out of reach till now.Have your kids be a part of this new opportunity to grow!Sincerely, the Peaceful Belly Crew!

Agenda

We will learn how to make - Pasta dough, Ricotta cheese, and Pasta sauce from scratch. We will then assemble our own raviolis with fun fillings and enjoy our food in the garden!

Day One! Ravioli Making

We will learn how to make - Pizza dough, Mozzarella cheese, and Basil pesto from scratch. We will then make our own custom pizzas with many different toppings and cook them all off in our mini pizza oven!

Day Two! Pizza Making

We will learn how to make - Cornbread (grinding our own corn meal), Tomatillo sauce, and hot sauces/toppings from scratch! We will then assemble our mean with stuffed peppers and enjoy the rest of the day playing in the garden together!
