Critical Roles and Activities for Supervisors

Early Interventions for First Episode Psychosis

The focus of this virtual learning series is to enhance the services pre-existing First Episode Psychosis teams provide, as well as to build awareness and education in areas of the state without current FEP teams.

In this course, presented by Dr. Janis Tondora, participants will learn to:- Identify 3 common quality flaws in the documentation of Person-Centered Recovery Planning - Verbalize recovery-oriented responses for staff around the “Top Ten Concerns” in Person-Centered Recovery Planning - Increase skills in critically reviewing recovery plan documentation through practice with an established PCRP Quality Indicators review toolKentucky currently has nine Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) teams across the state, serving young people with or at risk of First Episode Psychosis (FEP). These teams are called iHOPE (Helping Others Pursue Excellence).This training is made possible by Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) funds through Kentucky Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Attendance is free.
