Adult Mental Health First Aid Certification CourseWelcome to our online Adult Mental Health First Aid Certification Course! An interactive course led by a lively and well trained instructor! Join us for an informative and interactive session where you'll learn how to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health crisis and be the link they might need to proffessional help and resources. Sign up today and become certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid!Similar to physical First Aid and CPR, MHFA helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis until professional assistance is obtained or the crisis is resolved. Mental Health First Aiders learn a 5-step Action Plan to recognize warning signs of a mental health or substance use challenge, provide help in crisis and non-crisis situations and understand where to turn for additional assistance.Adult Mental Health First Aid consists of 2-hours of self-paced content followed by 6 hours of a certified, instructor-led training. This course is valued at $170 by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.After we've recieved registration and payment, you will recieve an email in the next 24 hrs. confirming your enrollment into the course as well as a link to login and start your pre-course work. You will be required to change your password the first time you login.Username: Your email addressPassword: Mentalhealth1!This course will provide you with 7.5 CEU credit hours and a certification, which is good for 3 years.Please indicate name and email of person attending the event if different from purchaser. Please pay attention to date and time of class. Instrutor led session will be completely virtual.
