Is there a dress code?

This year's event is semi-formal. We welcome attendees to come straight from work or dress up to their heart's content. The only fashion advice we have is to include a little (or a lot of) green in your style choices.

I am interested in becoming a Megawatt sponsor or higher, how do I apply?

To become a Megawatt, Gigawatt, Terawatt, or Legacy sponsor, please contact us at events@necec.org.

Question 3

What will this event look like if there is no seated dinner?

Accepted Answer

NECEC's Green Future Gala is not a seated dinner because we received feedback last year that attendees would like more networking time and opportunities. The general reception will feature heavy appetizers, an open bar with communal high-top tables, and reserved cafe tables for top sponsors.

Question 4

Is the speaking program seated?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The speaking and awards program will be seated in EMK Institute's full-size replica of the United States Senate Chamber.

The general reception space will remain open throughout the speaking program and even feature a live stream of the program to provide uninterrupted networking time.

Question 5

What kind of food will be served?

Accepted Answer

We will provide heavy appetizers, meaning lots of satisfying and yummy dishes! We will of course have substantial gluten-free and vegan options.

Where can I park?

Accepted Answer

There is ample free parking available onsite at the EMK Institute. The venue is also easily accessible from the red line JFK/UMASS T stop via frequent MBTA and UMASS shuttles.
