<a href="https://www.rewildportland.com/" title="https://www.rewildportland.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">In partnership with Rewild Portland</a>Join us for an evening of community connection and summer celebration at this creative and industrious makers community on the Willamette River just north of Cathedral Park.We’ll be dancing along the river to performances by 20ft Man and a silent disco in the garden with <a href="https://on.soundcloud.com/TwmYQxvRQq6v74nSA" title="https://on.soundcloud.com/TwmYQxvRQq6v74nSA" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">DJ Hazel Wolf.</a>ReWild will offer tours and demonstrations.We will be having a Pizza Party with a Pizza Topping Potluck! Join us as we fire up Green Anchors giant cobb oven to bake pizzas and other goodies. There will be vegan and gluten free pizza crust options. Join Andrew and Wes to make a papercrete flowerpot!

Papercrete Workshop

Join Charlie Wilcox to make a collaborative animation on fabric! Based in the experimental lineage of direct animation, in which the celluloid filmstock is used as the *direct* surface in which the animator draws or etches their work, we will have a forty foot fabric film strip that can be added to, altered, and then animated! As facilitator, Charlie will be on hand to talk about approaches to this practice of fabric-based animation, how to think like a stop-motion animator, and examples of other artists and animators working in this vein. Let's get loose for a couple hours working on this open-ended collaborative project!

All materials will be provided. This is an all-ages drop-in workshop. All are welcome to participate at any time during the event.
