By empowering Portland residents and local leaders to creatively transform shared public spaces into vibrant gathering places, City Repair fosters thriving, connected communities. Led by Alex Rogers from City Repair and Tamara Lynne, interdisciplinary artist.“The best way to respond to the future is to imagine it”Having a shared vision for our community is the foundation for building the future we desire. But this vision becomes truly powerful when we come together to share our ideas and imaginations. Our collective vision is stronger than anything we could imagine on our own. Together, we will explore our dreams for our city and how each of us has the power to shape the spaces that we inhabit.In this workshop, we will take practices from embodiment, theater, arts, and imagination practices to share in a collective visioning of what’s possible in our city, neighborhoods and communities.Whether you're passionate about placemaking, sustainable living, creating community spaces, or simply want to feel a part of creating our future, join us for an evening of creative exploration.This will be an interactive, collaborative workshop. Please arrive on time and prepare to stay for the duration of the workshop. Wear clothing you are comfortable to do light movement in.Vegetarian dinner will be provided. <h3>Registration </h3> Limited to 30 participants — please register in advance. A sliding scale donation to City Repair will help cover the costs associated with this workshop. Suggested donation $10-20. Nobody turned away, please register at whatever level is accessible to you.
