Street parking is available, and waivers will be provided upon arrival. Event Info Come to the event in comfortable clothing (warm) and bring your favorite blanket, yoga mat, and pillow. Hands and feet will need to be exposed during the sound bath for acupuncture needle placement. Once you're comfortable, Wade will place acupuncture needles in the four gates plus Yin Tang. If at any time you are uncomfortable, please raise a hand signaling him to come over to remove any needles that may be causing discomfort. It is more likely you may be chilly in class than uncomfortable with the needles. You will need to sign a waiver when you arrive. Wade Thoren has a background in pain management, working in physical therapy offices and hospitals. He works with various levels of pain and discomfort including migraines, injury &amp; surgery rehabilitation, chronic pain, or simply waking up feeling like you slept the wrong way. The specific and primary objectives and purposes of this corporation are charitable and educational, meeting the requirements for exemption provided by Section 23701d of the California Revenue and Taxation Code, and Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Namely, the purposes of Jumping In Solo Inc. JIS will help to provide grants for mental health care and wellness within the communities of women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ so that can survive and thrive through support, education, wellness retreats, nature hikes, and peer support. JIS will address the wellbeing of these communities through multiple innovative and inclusive pathways including comprehensive programs (wellness retreats, guided self-discovery exercises, in the wilderness education, physical movement, and storytelling) providing leadership focused on wellness, inclusion, body positivity and nature.
