Artascope is a 501(c)(3) organization that raises money for experiential education programs by offering art classes and studio memberships in Yarmouth, Maine. We provide a relaxed, supportive environment to the broader community where individuals can share their work, ideas, and discoveries with one another. Located at 138 Bayview Street, Yarmouth, ME.

<p><strong><strong>Join us for an afternoon mini class on Monday, August 19th at the Bickford Outdoor Pavilion from 1:00PM-3:00PM.</strong></strong></p><p>Join artist Catherine Bickford for a two hour drawing workshop that will help you think about drawing in a totally new way. Students will work with graphite pencil, but Catherine will also show demos of other common sketching tools, such as charcoal, color pencil, color markers, and gouache. Learn simple techniques to improve your composition as well as an understanding of how to use value and scale to make a compelling image.</p><p><strong><strong>COST: </strong></strong>$40/pp</p>

<h3>We have full and partial scholarship funds available for the public to attend painting, drawing, and printmaking workshops at our Plein Air Art Festival in August.
