Artascope is a 501(c)(3) organization that raises money for experiential education programs by offering art classes and studio memberships in Yarmouth, Maine. We provide a relaxed, supportive environment to the broader community where individuals can share their work, ideas, and discoveries with one another. Located at 138 Bayview Street, Yarmouth, ME.

Yarmouth Community Garden

Sunday, August 18th from 10am-Noon as part of Artascope's 2024 Plein Air Art Festival.This workshop is our most popular hands-on event. Join us in the beautiful Yarmouth Community Garden for a workshop inspired by nature. You will experiment with simple printmaking techniques to create dozens of colorful prints. "Getting outside and making art in a location like the Yarmouth Community Garden puts us in touch with nature in a uniquely engaging way. Participants of all ages will be delighted by these simple and soulful activities," said Artascope Director, Catherine Bickford.All ages welcome to join.There is also an afternoon session available. Please check our calendar for other event options.COST: $40/pp. (Proceeds to benefit Yarmouth Community Garden.)
