It boasts a diverse, knowledge-based economy with high-quality K-16+ education. Much of this growth is happening in the northern suburbs of Austin, particularly in Round Rock and its surrounding areas. Join us to discover the similarities between these communities and North County San Diego. Explore their approach to economic and workforce development as suburban cities located in a larger metro area. Wednseday Evening: Arrive in Round Rock, TX

Briefing on small business support system, workforce development, and higher education partnerships.

Thursday Morning: Breakfast & Bus Travel to First Location

Tour and briefing on homelessness and innovative solutions. Afternoon on your own to rest or explore.

Thursday Mid-day: Lunch with Regional Mayors and Economic Developers

Learn more about “South By Southwest” and how Austin built a world-recognized brand. 

Thursday Evening: Dinner at Downtown Austin Location

Learn what they are doing to support businesses in their regions.

Friday Morning: Breakfast & Briefing from Chamber CEO's

Learn more about how Round Rock and the rest of Austin suburbs are finding success as a youth sports and agro-tourism leader.
