Ananda Leeke is an award-winning Thriving Mindfully Coach, an artist, an author, a Human Design Doula, and an ordained interfaith minister. Ananda discovered mindfulness when her career as a lawyer, an investment banker, and a digital communications professional stressed her out, caused burnout, and did not produce the level of success she expected. As a result of her healing journey, she learned to navigate change, discovered her own resiliency, and became an artist-in-residence for Smith Center for Healing and the Arts at Howard University Hospital and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, a certified mindfulness + yoga teacher, a digital wellness educator, and a reiki + sound healing practitioner. Today, she helps busy and stressed people nurture, transform, and celebrate their life, relationships, and career with mindful self-care, digital wellness, creativity, and Human Design. As the founder and Chief Mindfulness Officer of Ananda Leeke Consulting, a wellness company, she leads the Thriving Mindfully Academy, an online learning platform and membership site. She also hosts and produces the Thriving Mindfully Podcast. Her books, "Love’s Troubadours," a self-love and yoga-inspired novel; "That Which Awakens Me," a mindful creativity memoir; and "Digital Sisterhood," a mindful tech memoir, are available on Amazon. Currently, she is writing “Thriving Mindfully as the REAL ME: A Memoir of Lipstick, Loving Kindness, Joy, and Everything In Between” (2022). ABOUT THE MOON:
The moon is a feminine symbol that represents our inner world, intuition, emotions (known and hidden), unconscious beliefs, desires, dreams, shadow self, fears, and worries. It orbits the earth about every 29 days. Each month it invites us to slow down and go within to connect with ourselves.
Takerah Mafi says, "the moon is a loyal companion. It never leaves. It is always there watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day it is a different version of itself. Sometime weak and wane. Sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human."
The full moon calls us to slow down and chill out, meditate, dance to release energy, let go of emotional baggage, forgive self and others, charge crystals, and cleanse home and office spaces. It's a good time to manifest goals; nurture passions; encourage strength, power, love, knowledge, money and dreams; and practice gratitude and rituals for prophecy and protection.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
The Thriving Mindfully Moon Circle and Sound Bath Meditation events were created to celebrate the connection we each have to the moon and to empower you with tools, resources, sacred space, and a diverse community to be the REAL YOU.
The Thriving Moon Circle and Sound Bath Meditation is held at Qi Kratom CBD Tea, 1517 U Street, NW, in Washington, DC. During the event, you will learn how to:

<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Make the moon your BFF, Bae, and Boo with mindful self-care practices including sound bath meditations, gentle yoga, reiki, crystal therapy, chakra healing, and other rituals from around the world.</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Dive deep into yourself and discover your sweet spots, spicy edges, and stuff that has you stuck in fear, doubt, lack, limitation, resentment, and/or resistance.</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Shine light on and begin to release and forgive what no longer serves you.</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Set intentions that will help support you in being the REAL YOU.</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Commit to your intentions and receive tips on creating an action plan that focuses on small steps, accountability, and self-celebration.</LI>

Everyone is welcome to participate! That means all human beings with diverse skin colors and identities and from diverse age groups, backgrounds, communities, and countries. All folx are welcome! 
Get your tickets early! Participation in the moon circle is limited to 20 people. 
The moon circle and sound bath meditation are led by Ananda Leeke, a wellness professional, author, and artist. Ananda discovered mindfulness and wellness when her career as a young lawyer and investment banker did not produce the level of success she expected. During her healing journey, she studied and practiced meditation, yoga, reiki, journaling, art-making, and creative writing. They helped her develop self-care practices and become resilient. As a result, she became a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher, reiki master practitioner, and artist-in-residence for the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts. Today, she  helps people, businesses, organizations, and communities become resilient and thrive with mindfulness, self-care, and creativity as the Chief Mindfulness Officer of Ananda Leeke Consulting, a wellness company that focuses on personal and professional development. In addition, she hosts and produces the Thriving Mindfully Show on Eaton Radio and teaches meditation classes and mindfulness workshops at Qi Kratom CBD Tea.
