Where does the walk begin?

The walk begins on the Columbia Tap Trail. Participants will link up with arriving walkers who started in Galveston on Juneteenth. You may also join the group at Emancipation Park for the last 2 miles to Freedmen's Town.

How do I register for the walk?

The walk is free and you may register here on EventBrite.

(2-3) bottles of water to stay hydrated during the walk; a backpack to carry personal items, a head band or hat, bandana, and comfortable walking shoes. Oh yeah, and snacks!
