Welcome to the Retro Riviera: Launch Event &amp; Fashion Show! Join <a href="https://www.smoc.ca/" title="https://www.smoc.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SMOC</a> &amp; Hudson's Bay for an afternoon of vintage glamour and style. Get ready to travel back in time and experience this exhibit which celebrates a vibrant chapter in the annals of fashion history, transporting you to the sun-drenched shores of Palm Beach, Florida during the 60's &amp; 70's. A dazzling playground for the rich and elite during a transformative era.Don't miss out on this exciting exhibit launch event. Grab your friends and come dressed in your best period resort inspired outfits. Enjoy drinks and canapés while SMOC curator Ivan Sayers showcases some of the garments that didn't make it into the exhibit. This is your opportunity to view the pieces that no one else will see. Event on 2nd Floor in the Platinum Suite. Turn right on exiting the elevators and walk towards the back of the dress department. Drinks sponsored by <a href="https://www.getgruvi.com/" title="https://www.getgruvi.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gruvi</a> Net profits from this event will be donated to The Society for the Original Museum of Costume.

This Fashion Show features looks that didn't make it into the Exhibit and would otherwise not be seen by the public. Ivan will talk through the garments and their historical significance.
