Take a hike through the woods while learning about edible mushrooms and plants!

Chain O'Lakes State Park

Join Chicagoland's only full time professional forager Dave Odd for a walk around Chain O' Lakes State Park in Spring Grove IL to identify and learn about all the edible wild plants and mushrooms that thrive there. Guaranteed to learn about at least 50 edible plants/mushrooms! We'll meet some cool critters along the way too. Chanterelles, chicken of the woods, and more should be popping. We'll be hiking for a couple hours so being snacks and plenty of water.
