Ruah Bhay, M.A. 500ERYTRuah was first introduced to yoga and meditation by her mom while growing up in Greenwich Village, NYC.  Yoga and meditation became an essential positive source in her everyday life - especially in college and then in her professional career while living abroad in Senegal, France, Sri Lanka and India, as a teacher, as an NGO manager, a traveler, then eventually as a wife and mother of two children.  Ruah’s classes are physically challenging, yet accessible to all levels.  Ruah integrates yoga philosophy into the practice in a way that is applicable to everyday life and guides students on a journey of self-discovery.  Her classes also include her own ayurvedic aromatherapy that she has developed over the years of sharing seasonally blended oils for her students.  Ruah has studied with various traditions such as Yogaworks, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Kundalini, Dharma Mittra, Transcendental Meditation and Swami Vivekananda SVYASA University in Bangalore.  She is 500hr Yogaworks Certified, Khalsa Way Prenatal Certified, has been teaching for 15 years, holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Sustainable Development.www.ruahyoga.comIG Ruahyoga

Enjoy a day trip Rockaways as a wonderful way to savor summer bliss and it is only a ferry or subway ride away on the A train!  PROGRAM: 9:00-11AM Yoga, Breathing, Relaxation & Meditation class with Ruah guiding you to strengthen, open and relax your body, mind and spirit.  This class will leave you feeling invigorated, and refreshed - ready to hop on your board and hang ten!
