<p>A story about pattern seeking. Featuring new weavings by Emelie Richardson. This show is an exploration of the instinctual and habitual nature of repetition and pattern. In these handwoven paintings, repetitive movements slowly translate into replicating line then form. Patterns repeat but are never identically reproduced, mimicking nature’s cyclical yet unpredictable behaviors. Through repetition there is a letting go, a getting lost, a meandering off path. Contours begin to blur; soft fascination prevails.</p>
