Since 1973,Self Help Graphics & Art(SHG)has produced more than 2,000 art print editions, including 62 Professional Marking Program ateliers and exhibitions all over the world. The organization remains dedicated to the production, interpretation, and distribution of prints and other art media by Chicana/o and Latinx artists; and its multidisciplinary, intergenerational programs promote artistic excellence and empower community by providing access to working space, tools, training and beyond. Join us for our free Family Workshop at the East LA County Library on June 8th and learn how to make a stencil screenprint!

Join us on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. for our monthly Family Workshop at the East Los Angeles County Library. Participants will learn how to create a handmade stencil that will be printed on a poster with vibrant inks. Come and create fun designs and a one-of-a-kind poster to take home!This workshop is open to all ages and no prior experience is necessary. All materials will be provided to participants. Walk-ins are welcome!Our monthly free Family Workshop will be held at the East Los Angeles Library every second Saturday of the month in the Community Room. Limited public parking is available.
