This event is FREE for 5K participants, thanks to the support of SAMHSA and the Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health’s Health Equity Advancement Project (HEAP) initiative

We encourage pre-registration as on-site registration will be very limited on the day of the event and will be an increase in cost.

The event begins with the Opening Ceremony at 10:00 AM and runs until 2:00 PM. Please check the detailed agenda for specific activity times.

What should I expect during the Opening Ceremony?

The Opening Ceremony will include speeches from local officials and healthcare champions, a memorial balloon release, a moment of silence,  and a community pre-walk/run warmup to get you ready to hit the trail!

The Community Health Fair is a part of the event where you can explore a variety of booths offering maternal and child health resources. You'll have the opportunity to engage with vendors, access information, and learn about resources related to maternal health, child development, and more!

Pins and bracelets are symbols of your participation and commitment to maternal health awareness. They are given as tokens of appreciation and unity.

Tell me more about the raffle. How can I participate?

You can participate in the raffle by making a donation. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase during the event, and the drawing will take place during the participant welcome session. Every donor will be entered in the raffle

Is there parking available at the event location?

Yes, there is parking available at Glasgow Regional Park. Please follow event signage and staff directions for parking instructions.

Yes, restroom facilities will be available for participants and attendees.

While we will have food and refreshments available, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Please be mindful of any waste and dispose of it responsibly.

Yes, we will have medical personnel and first aid stations available in case of emergencies.

We plan to proceed with the event rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
