Professor Louie and the Crowmatix will bring their mix of rock, rhythm, and blues back to our outdoor stage—music that continues to expand the borders of Americana, Roots, and Blues Genres.

Performing since 2000 and averaging 150 shows annually in the US and worldwide, they will perform original songs from their seventeen CDs and classics from the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall Of Fame group, The Band’s, repertoire that Professor Louie created with them.

A Grammy-nominated Woodstock All-Star group, they began as the studio backing band for Aaron, Professor Louie’s musical productions for The Band. Rick Danko, bass player and singer of The Band, christened him Professor Louie due to his work with them. Louie collaborated with The Band, co-producing their last three CDs in the ‘90s.

They have released sixteen studio CDs on The Woodstock Records Label. In 2023, Woodstock Records released Professor Louie & The Crowmatix vinyl and CD: Rockin' Legacy Vol. 1 EP, which stayed on the Relix /Jamband Charts for four months and has gained great reviews. It has also been played on over 90 radio stations nationwide and worldwide.

Their 2022 recording, Strike Up The Band, was on The Roots Music Radio Charts for over nine months, and their single “Work It Out” hit #1 on the NY State charts.

In case of rain, this show will be held indoors. Light refreshments will be available. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and a picnic.
