Remade in Brooklyn

This extraordinary workshop will inspire you to radically rethink your wardrobe. Designer Olga Singh envisions a new way of dressing that does not require the extraction of raw materials or contribute to rapidly accumulating chemical waste in our ecosystem. Her brand reclaims and redesigns old clothing into phenomenal and practical new looks. We start with a garment you’ve selected from your wardrobe and discuss ideas for a collaborative redesign (No old clothes? No worries, we’ll have some samples we've collected for you to use too).Next we alter the garment by removing unnecessary elements and rearranging them. We finish the raw edges together and you have your newly remade design by the end of the workshop! (More complex designs may need to be left after the workshop to be picked up within a few days).You'll never look at old clothes the same way again.
