Will there be any opportunities for early packet pickup before the day of the Ride?

Accepted Answer

There are two early packet pickups  to help make Ride day smoother:  Austin Packet  Pick-Up, Saturday, April 19th, 10AM-Noon, Trek Bicycle Parmer, 9900 W Parmer Ln, Austin TX; Georgetown Packet Pickup, Wednesday, April 23rd, 4PM-7PM, Georgetown Cyclewerx, 3010 Williams Drive #118, Georgetown, TX.

Who can ride under a family registration?

Family registration is limited to immediate family members.

Can I use my electric bike?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Riders with bicycles of all types can take part in the ride.

What will happen if I can't finish the ride or my bicycle breaks down?

We have rest stops on every route and support vehicles driving the routes to help riders who run into problems.

Where  does the ride start and what is the starting time?

The ride starts at 8:00 a.m. at the Georgetown High School Annex, 2295 N. Austin Avenue, Georgetown, TX, with no riders leaving after 9:00 a.m.

Where and when does the ride end?

Accepted Answer

All routes on the ride begin and end at the Georgetown High School Annex Building. The course closes at 4:00 pm.

What about parking for ride participants?

Ample parking will be available behind the start/end location at the rear of the Georgetown High School Annex Building.

Question 8

Delays or cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen events?

Accepted Answer

If the ride on Saturday, April 26th is cancelled due to weather, a contingency date has been set for Sunday,  April 27th. Start time and location will remain the same.

Is my registration/ticket transferable?

Accepted Answer

You may give your ticket to someone else; however, they will be required to sign a waiver before they will be allowed to participate in the ride. The waiver is available at packet pickup on the morning of the event at the rear of the Annex Building on the Georgetown High School campus.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It is preferred that you bring the printed ticket, but not required.

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

The ride is a charity event and all proceeds will go to the charities. If both the event date and alternate date are cancelled, there will be no refunds. Participants will still get the race packets and t-shirts, and may get a discounted rate for the following year registration if offered.
