Emails. We all have an inbox filled with them. We all read them (and usually respond to them within 3-5 business days). But we don't all realize the unconscious influence they have over our lives. Utilizing this secret weapon can be a simple, but majorly effective tool for small business owners. In this class, we will walk through the simple ways that small business owners can start using email marketing to supercharge their business (more sales, more clients, more brand awareness, etc). Students will learn about: <ul><li>The different email platforms (and which might be the best for their business goals) </li><li>Marketing methods &amp; best practices when it comes to sending emails as a business operator.</li><li> Common mistakes &amp; challenges of making sure emails don’t go to spam</li></ul> This class will be interactive and give students the opportunity to talk through their specific business goals. If you don’t have a business, but dream of starting one, this class is still for you!As the daughter &amp; niece of Snowbird Ski Instructors, <a href="https://milanlikethecity.com/" title="https://milanlikethecity.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Milan </a>grew up influenced by the powerful community of Little Cottonwood Canyon and with a deep reverence for these mountains. In 2016, Milan moved from her hometown of Santa Barbara, CA to pursue a degree at The University of Utah (which quickly morphed into a major in skiing). Since then, her career has followed a unique and meandering path through a series of marketing, film, and branding roles in the ski, outdoor, advertising, and media industries. With roles at Powderbird Helicopter Skiing, Kuhl Clothing, The Daily Upside, Alta Community Enrichment, and more - Milan has gained a strong understanding of the importance of establishing a brand voice and using it to your business’s advantage. Through her career in filmmaking, she has learned the art of bringing a brand to life and using your voice to tell beautiful stories. Milan now works in Growth Marketing &amp; Brand Partnerships for an email-first digital media company in the finance space. Here, she works closely to harness and optimize the power of emails. In addition to her email-farming day job, Milan also runs her own company Milan, Like the City which offers brand consulting for small businesses and freelance production services for commercials and documentaries.
