The Presbytery of the North East and the Northern Isles meets for ordinary business and a conference session on the 15th of June 2024, both onsite at Trinity Church, Westhill Drive (Kingshill Parish Church) and online via video conferencing.
The guest speaker will be Jane Howitt, Chaplain to Heriot-Watt University and formerly Transition Minister in the Church of Scotland.
Jane has worked with a number of churches over the years as they cope with change and will be bringing her insight to leading through transition.
Zoom Registration and associated papers will be distributed by email and post prior to the event, including a full agenda.
Tea and coffee will be served from 9:30am before the morning session, and a sandwich lunch will be provided from 12:30pm. The Presbytery is asking for a minimum £5 donation to cover the costs of catering. Car Parking is available, though limited but the school opposite has parking that can be used within reason. Buses run from Union Square Bus Station that stop near the church (Look for numbers 4, 5, 6 and 6A in particular).
Transport is available from the Ferry terminal to the Church and back but there are limited spaces on the minibus and these will need to be booked in advance.
Registration for the meeting and information regarding dietary requirements is required to be completed by the 7th of June.
