Redfish Music Festival Faculty Concert

The Redfish Music Festival hosts a week long classical music festival on the Southern Oregon Coast in August, but also features "off season" events throughout the Northwest in the Fall and Spring. The RMF presents classical chamber music concerts, which are concerts that involve groups of 2-6 people performing together.

2024 Redfish Music Festival

The 2024 Redfish Music Festival features classical music with strings and piano. Four faculty members and 9 students will be in residence on the south coast of Oregon for a week from July 26-Aug 4 and will present several concerts.

Welcome to the Redfish Music Faculty Concert! Join us for a night fantastic of chamber music featuring the music of W. A. Mozart and Erst von Dohnanyi, performed by our talented music faculty. The event will be held at the Cultural Center in Crescent City California -- a wonderful space and with a view of the bay. Come and enjoy a two works: the E flat piano quartet of Mozart (piano, violin, viola and cello) and the fantastic Dohnanyi Piano Quintet Op. 1 (piano, 2 violins, viola and cello)-- a fantastic youthful work with soaring melodies, showcasing the incredible skills of our faculty members, Fritz Gearhart and Miya Saito-Beckman violins, Leslie Straka, viola, Andrew Smith, cello and Genevieve Feiwen Lee piano. Don't miss this opportunity to be entertained and inspired by our amazing musicians. We look forward to seeing you there!
